Event Content
Guidelines for Event Content
Here a few simple guidelines when posting event information:
Use simple easy to read descriptions
Add as much information as you can (e.g. cost, description, website etc)
Add photos and videos - they are a great way to communicate your event!
Make sure you choose event Organiser or event Spotter
Identify the correct venue or add a new venue location
Keep track of user comments and reply to comments when necessary
Always try and post the correct information
If you add an information that is copyrighted you must have permission or be the owner
To do not use profanities and inappropriate language in your descriptions
Events with Incorrect Information
Only the person who created the event ( Organiser or Spotter ) can edit the event information directly, however if you see an event with incorrect information you can add a comment to that particular event with the correct information.
Alternatively, if you feel the incorrect information is of a more serious nature then see Flagging Inappropriate Content
Flagging Inappropriate Content & Copyright Violations
At mixedin we take to create a community that respects other users and is a forum for posting quality and relevant information about events and activities.
If you see an event that has inappropriate, offensive or infringes copyright material then click on the ' Report as Inappropriate ' button on the event information page. You will then need to fill in your details, reason for reporting as inappropriate and what action you would like to see taken.
The Mixedin team will then review each reported case and take appropriate action. |
