Event Talk  

What is Event Talk?
Event Talk is the Mixedin forum where you can post general information, ask other users questions, suggest an event or just have a conversation with other people.

To post a comment to Event Talk click on the Event Talk tab on the main menu of any page and a list of categories will be displayed. On the right-hand side click the 'Start a Conversation' or 'Suggest an Event' buttons and a form will appear where you can type in your comments.

Please follow the Guidelines for Event Talk Content at all times.

Security Tip: Event Talk is a public forum so don't disclose any private confidential information (e.g. never give out passwords or your credit card details).

Starting a Conversation

When you Start a Conversation you start a discussion thread with other members of the Mixedin community and the Mixedin Team. Suggesting an Event

Have you ever wanted an event or activity in your area but it never seems to occur? With Suggest an Event you can let the Mixedin community, the World and event organizers know what events you want to see happen.

Be specific and be positive when suggesting an event!

Guidelines for Event Talk Content

Any comments, threads or content that you post to Mixedin must follow these basic rules. Post must not contain anything:

•  that contains copyrighted or proprietary material which you do not own or are not licensed to use;
•  that contains advertising or 'spam';
•  defamatory, indecent, threatening, misleading or otherwise containing illegal content;
•  which invades personal privacy, is pornographic or obscene or incites violence;
•  containing financial advice or recommendations regarding securities;
•  containing a virus or code designed to interrupt the Site or infect other computers.

Normally we do not modify threads however we do monitor Event Talk and also receive notices from other users regarding Inappropriate Content and we may remove an inappropriate post or suspend your account if you repeatedly post inappropriate or spam material.
