Finding an event

You can find events quickly on the mixedin home page or for more search options select the Explore page. You can search by keyword, location and date or alternatively you can browse the event categories. You can refine a list of events by entering further keywords, venue or date information into the "Refine Search' box.

In addition to finding events, the Explore page can be used to search and browse venues and users . To find a venue you can either search by the venue name or by the location. If you know that a particular event is on at a venue but are having trouble searching for the venue why not do a search for the event instead. The event information page will provide the venue details.

When searching for a user, you can search by their first name, last name or email address.

Attending, Following and Subscribing to Events

If you want to see information on an event click on the event title or image and the Event Information page will appear. When viewing an event page, the Event Tools box on the right side of the page allows you to select whether you want to to mark yourself as attending or following the event.

If you select "Attending", the event will be added to your personal events list on your MyMix page as an event you are attending . You will also be listed on the event page as attending.

If you select "Following", the event will be added to your personal events list on your MyMix page as an event you are following. You will also be listed on the event page as following .

You can subscribe to information on this event by clicking "Subscribe" . You will receive email notifications whenever comments or further information on this event is posted.
