Venues & Location Maps

Adding a Venue

You can either select an existing venue / location to your event or you can add a new venue / location.

To select an existing venue simply type in a few letters of the venue or the address into the venue box on the Add Event page. You will see a list of venue names and addresses pop up, just select the correct one. If the venue is not in the list then you can add a new venue.

Click on the link 'add new venue' in the add event page and enter all the information about the venue. You can also add a photo, website, parking information and tags for this venue. If you wish you can select that the venue be private (e.g. your home address) in which case only friends you invite will be able to see this venue.

You can also add a venue from your MyMix account information under the 'Location' tab. This venue / location will then be your default venue if you have are an organisation or home address if you are an Individual account. Of course whenever you create an event you can select any venue or location for your event.

The Events Map

The Events Map is our novel way of showing every event and activity posted on Mixedin on the map of Australia

You can zoom, scroll, rotate the map and switch between map, satellite (photo) and hybrid modes. Select any town or city you want to look at and simply zoom in until you find the right area, then click on event markers to get more information!

The Events Map and other maps in Mixedin are powered by Google Maps.Send us an email at support@mixedin.com.au if you are having technical difficulties with the maps.
